How to apply through your OUSD enrolled student
STEP 1: Gather Your Information
Proof that your student is enrolled in an OUSD school
OUSD has a Proof of Enrollment Letter & Student ID (sample;) available for each student. To access it:
Download your documents from your ParentSquare account (Video tutorial HERE)
OR Contact your school’s Main Office to ask for a printed version
What you will need to apply:
An email address
A form of Identification
This could be the last 4 digits of your social security number (not needed) OR Birth Certificate (from the U.S. or any country), Driver’s License, CA ID, Passport (from any country), ITIN
A form of identification for your student
This could include:The student ID Copy provided by OUSD with the proof of enrollment letter (sample),
OR
the last 4 digits of their social security number (not required)
OR
Birth Certificate (from the U.S. or any country), Driver’s License, CA ID, Passport (from any country), or their ITIN
STEP 2: APPLY! (Online is fastest)
Apply online at www.getinternet.gov

Call your Internet Service Company and say “I’m calling to apply my ACP benefit”
Share your application ID (11-digit ID in the following format: B12345-67890)
Save!
You should see a $30/month discount applied to your bill moving forward.
STEP 3: Contact an Internet Service Provider
You can receive one ACP benefit per household.
NOTE: Besides having a dependent at an OUSD school, there are many more ways to qualify.
