OUR VISION
#OaklandUndivided is an equity-based, collective impact initiative launched in May 2020 to harness the people's power to solve one of society’s most persistent structural inequities—the digital divide.
A partnership with the City of Oakland, Oakland Unified School District, Oakland Public Education Fund, TechExchange, and the Oakland Promise—#OaklandUndivided uplifts community voice and champions equity in our digitally redlined communities of West Oakland, Fruitvale, and East Oakland.

STUDENT CONNECTIVITY
#OU seeks to scale and sustain home digital access from cradle to career for Oakland’s 50,000+ public school students.
GOAL #2: COMMUNITY-WIDE
CONNECTIVITY
#OU is committed to community wide connectivity. That means that 90% of Oakland’s 37,000 unconnected households will be connected to high speed, broadband internet by 2027.
